It was the first week of January when everyone had been to their home town and they were meeting a after a gap of 2 weeks. Padma wanted to speak first before any one and burst out saying “I think I know how Bridge evolved in India”. Prabha had just returned from a day IPL game at Wankhede where Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings in the last over in a tight finish. Padma had come after attending a wedding and was all decked up in Kancheepuram Silk saree. Both wanted to talk about their outing but Prabha prevailed and the discussion moved to cricket. Padma was very excited as she wanted to share with everyone about the lecture she heard in her office today. It was all about completing activities a hundred per cent. Roads are repaired but edges are not done and heaps of mud line up the sides of the road, construction of house is over but furnishing is going on for ever and IT projects, it sometimes takes a very short time to get to 99 per cent but the last 1 per cent probably takes 99 per cent of time.
